FRIENDSHIP CABINS
Friendship Cabins are modular, flat-packed structures for safer outdoor dining during COVID and beyond. They enhance social distancing and protect servers by isolating diner parties while providing improved comfort and weather protection. Movable and easily disassembled, they can be shifted for street maintenance, expanded or upgraded

Installed at Peaches Restaurant in Brooklyn, NY, the Cabins were designed by researchers at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). They extend ongoing RPI research in to the use of Friendship Bottles for disaster relief to an urban context.

Friendship Cabins are both part of a busy, popular restaurant and research test beds for the future of outdoor dining
