Characterization of mechanical and thermal properties of Friendship Bottles (interlocking plastic bottles) for possible use as sustainable and humanitarian building components. The project will test the various mechanical strengths and stress points of columns, arches, walls and roofs made in various configurations with Friendship Bottles. Thermal characteristics of the bottles will also be tested to determine how buildings made with Friendship Products will perform in various climates, and how different construction techniques might enhance that performance.
